Hinesville man's animal cruelty charge bond set, also charged with manufacturing marijuana

LIBERTY CO., GA (WTOC) -

The man who allegedly cut the tail off of his neighbor’s dog had a bond hearing Friday before a Liberty County Magistrate.

In addition to the alleged animal cruelty charge, Steven Dobbs is also being charged with manufacturing marijuana in his Peggy Sue Street residence.

According to Hinesville Police Detective Kyle Larimore, several plants alleged to be marijuana were found in the home.

Bond for cruelty to an animal was set at $2,500 and $10,000 for the manufacturing of marijuana.
