Another candidate announced Tuesday he’s in the running for Alderman At-Large, Post 2.
Travis Coles held a campaign rally in Johnson Square, bring the total number of candidates to six.
Coles attended Armstrong State University and is the general manager of Club One in downtown Savannah.
He also serves on the boards of Savannah Pride, First City Network, and Stand Out Youth.
If elected, Coles promises to focus on increasing safety and economic opportunities for all neighborhoods.
“Crime is the most important. It seems to be the first thing on everyone's mind right now. Savannah is experiencing a particularly rough year. We had a rough year last year as well. People want to see some change and they're not getting a lot of that,” said Coles.
