CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - Remember the new Georgia standardized test your child took at the end of last school year?
Officials are still waiting on the results.
The overall average scores for the Georgia milestones was released last month, indicating the average of students test scores were not proficient in all areas, including math and science. Results for each specific county were supposed to be released by October, but schools are still in the dark about how each student scored.
"It's very important right now for a planning stand point that we get the data from last year so that we can look at those flagged areas that we know we need to put more attention here or those areas that are very successful and we know it's working," said Kurt Hetager, SCCPSS.
Officials hope they'll have the scores before the end of the month.
