Co-workers remember victim of fatal Bull River Bridge accident

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - Police have identified the victim in Thursday night's fatal crash on the Bull River Bridge.

34-year-old Susan Bartoletti was killed when her moped collided with a car around 9:20 p.m.

Bartoletti was worked at Huc A Poo's Bar and Restaurant on Tybee Island.

The workers there tell WTOC Bartoletti was a beloved employee who was full of energy and influenced so many people.

They debated closing for the day, but decided to stay open in her honor, and to give everyone a place to come together, grieve, and remember her.

"She affected a lot of people. I've gotten calls from California and New York and those are just a couple of the people that have come here and she affected them for the short time they were staying on Tybee or they were at Huc A Poos and it's amazing how big an impact she had on so many people," said Huc A Poos owner Eric Thomas.

Her husband is also a server at Huc A Poo's. Of course he wasn't there today, but the owner said everyone there has been hit hard by this loss.

At this time, there are no funeral arrangements.
