The Savannah Bicycle Campaign hosted it's annual Midnight Garden Ride, a family friendly nighttime event. Hundreds of cyclists rode through downtown Savannah covered in blinking lights. After the ride there's a good and evil party that will wrap up at midnight.
"We just have a great time as a family," said Lexi Meissner, a participant of the Midnight Garden Ride. "We enjoy getting the light and wearing our costumes and waving at the people in Savannah and seeing it at night and kind of having the road to ourselves."
The Midnight Garden Ride is the largest annual fundraiser for the nonprofit Savannah Bicycle Campaign. The organization works to make Savannah safer and friendlier for cyclists.
