HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - The weather is perfect for a stroll through the pumpkin patch in Hinseville. The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority holding the annual fall themed event to raise money for the Alee Shriners Hospital for Children. Besides the pumpkins for sale, there were hayrides, arts and crafts, games, food, and lots of other activities for everyone to enjoy together at the new Bryant Commons on Oglethorpe Highway.
"You know, people are always saying there's not much to do in Hinesville, and we beg to differ!" said Hinesville Downtown's Hollie Barnidge. "Rarely does more than a month go by where we don't stage an event or festival of some type, and like I said, this is just a really great opportunity to come out here, buy a pumpkin to benefit the Shriners hospital, and spend some time with your family. The weather is absolutely gorgeous out here."
