SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Some children and their families are getting a head start on trick-or-treating fun.
Calvary Baptist Temple held their annual Trunk or Treat fall festival Sunday evening, inviting children of all ages to get dressed up in their Halloween costumes and come out to enjoy the fun. In addition to the trunk or treat, there were also plenty of games and rides for everyone. Church members say they want to make sure these trick-or-treaters have a great time while staying safe.
"It is for the entire family and it thrills my heart to see people come out here and brave the weather," said Senior Pastor Kenny Grant. "It is for the children and it is safe. A safe envioroment is what we want to present to this community. The kids deserve that."
This is the largest event Calvary Baptist Temple holds for the year.
