On Monday, jury selection begins for the trial of Miss Savannah. The former beauty queen, Nicole Redmond, admitted shooting her boyfriend, Kevin Shorter, in December 2003. He died three days later.
It will be up to the jury to decide if Redmond shot him in self defense or a jealous rage. She's charged with both malice and felony murder. Redmond is currently out on bond.
