Stokes Found Guilty in Midway Murder

A Liberty County courtroom has reached a verdict and a sentence tonight in the Keenan Stokes murder trial. On Sunday afternoon, the jury found Stokes guilty of killing Mike Norby. Less than three hours later, attorneys for both sides reached a compromise, sentencing Stokes to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Police say Keenan Stokes shot Mike Norby in November of 2002 outside a bank in Midway, Georgia. The jury found him guilty on all charges, including felony murder and armed robbery.
