More Suspensions in Recruit Death Investigation

The Marine Corps suspended three more Parris Island drill instructors in connection with the death of a recruit in February. Jason Tharp drowned during training. Members of his platoon told investigators the instructors used improper physical conduct at some point during training.

A South Carolina television station caught one drill instructor on tape shoving Tharp the day before he died. That instructor and four others were suspended.

The latest allegations are under investigation, but officials say they are not directly involved in Tharp's death.
