LONG CO., GA (WTOC) - Highway 84 is back open now after being closed at mile marker 5 while crews cleaned up the scene of a two-vehicle crash.
According to GSP, around 10:04 p.m. Friday a white sedan and a red sedan were both traveling eastbound just west of Ludowici on Highway 84 when the white sedan started to experience mechanical difficulties and started to slow down.
The red sedan struck the white sedan from behind causing the red car to flip on its roof.
The woman in the red car was potentially going to be airlifted, but was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The male in the white sedan was transported Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart. His condition is also unknown.
Long County Sheriff, Fire and EMS all responded. GSP also responded and is currently investigating the accident.
