SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Before runners hit the streets Saturday morning for the 2015 Rock 'N' Roll Marathon, they were gobbling up some pasta Friday night thanks to Liam's Land.
Liam's Land raises money and awareness to identify the cause of lymphatic malformations. The founder, Janet Steffen, and her team hosts the dinner each year to bring awareness and fuel the runners for the big race.
"It's the runners that come back year after year and the friendships that we've made from the participants of Rock 'N' Roll that continue to come back and support the organization, Liam's Land," said Steffen.
Steffen says they will be back next year for another "Pasta in the Park".
