SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - In light of the attacks on Paris last Friday, the Armstrong French Club held a moment of silence Wednesday afternoon by the Student Union.
One of the professors who helped organize the moment of silence says it is important to stop and reflect not only on the victims in the Paris attack, but all of those effected by terrorism around the world.
"It is part of the healing process I think to just stop and think about what happened. And now maybe it will allow us to continue and get over this new obstacle," said Dorothee Martz-Weigel, professor of French.
The members of the French club say they grieve with France and the people who have lost loved ones through these acts of violence.
