Jump Rope for Heart at Windsor Forest Elementary

Students at a local elementary school are jumping at the chance to help others as well. Today Windsor Forest Elementary School students took part in the annual Jump Rope for Heart program.

With every jump, they raise awareness and money to find a cure for heart disease, a disease one of their classmates knows about first hand.

"Both of my grandparents, my grandfathers died because they had something wrong with their heart and I have stuff wrong with my heart, too," said student Sarah Maciejewski.

Heart disease is the number one killer among adults and the number three killer of children.
