SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - An early Thanksgiving celebration was held Wednesday in Savannah.
Nearly a thousand people were given clothes, and a hot Thanksgiving dinner at the Temple of Glory Community Church.
The congregation came together to donate blankets, toiletries, food and clothes at their "Love Out Loud" event.
"It's Thanksgiving and we're thankful for what we have. There is no better way to show our love than give love back to the community and that's exactly Temple of Glory Community Church stands for. We're a church that the community reaches out to for help," said Temple of Glory Events Coordinator Davita Capers-White.
This was the fourth year for the event.
