They're serving a pretty tasty education in classrooms in Statesboro, at Ogeechee Tech. Some students are putting their teachers' taste buds to the test at the culinary arts and hotel-restaurant management students' annual luncheon.
Students planned everything from the menu to decorations and presentation for fifty people, as if it were an upscale restaurant.
Instructors say the skills could take them anywhere. "This helps them have real-world experience, hands-on training in addition to their classroom training," said Kristen Kozub.
Ogeechee Tech and Savannah Tech are the only schools in south Georgia offering hotel-restaurant management or culinary arts.
