The Bluffton Police Department has two people in custody allegedly connected to the shooting death of Jonathan Cherol on Oct. 28th on Pinecrest Way in Bluffton.
Police obtained two arrest warrants for 38-year-old Sam Collins and his wife, 34-year-old Collette Collins. Sam was arrested on drug charges last month and was in jail. He will now be charged with murder.
Collette was arrested Thursday. She is being questioned by officials.
Police identified the murder weapon as a shotgun, recovered the weapon and that led them to the suspects.
Officials are still trying to determine motive, but say the couple knew the victim.
