STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - It looks a lot more like Christmas now in Sweetheart Circle.
Georgia Southern University flipped the switch on their holiday decorations for the season. The lights and wreaths go up on the school's original buildings.
University leaders say it makes one of the prettiest campuses around even better, and at a perfect time.
"You bet, we have finals next week and even more studying. So this is a good break for students. They get to play in the snow a little bit," said GSU Interim President Dr. Jean Bartels.
Yes, she said snow. They have a brief blizzard created, as well as a life size snow globe for pictures.
And it wouldn't be a Christmas party without Santa Clause. The lights will be on every night until Jan. 1st.
