SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Chamber of Commerce held its annual Holiday Oyster Roast on the River Lawn of the Westin Riverfront.
Hundreds of local business leaders got to enjoy the event on what truly was a perfect night to be outside. The chamber's oyster roast is a chance for members, and those who might want to become chamber members, a chance to talk business without the sterile atmosphere of the office.
"It just makes the experience of meeting a new person more relaxed. There's no pressure added. You're here, you're enjoying great company, great food and you shake someone's hand and you have a new friend," said Stephanie Boaen, Savannah Chamber of Commerce.
Those roasted oysters were accompanied by live entertainment, Santa Claus, the hotel's gingerbread village and an ice bar.
