SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - One night only, a circus at the Alee Temple raised money to help children across our area.
The Alee Shriner's put on their second Circus Wednesday evening. The Shriners have been in the area for over 100 years, focusing on helping children's hospitals and children in the community.
Members say there really is nothing better.
"And to see all of these children smiling, clapping, laughing, and eating popcorn, it's just a feeling, that unless you're involved helping children, I can't explain," said J.J. Johns, Alee Shriners.
All ticket proceeds will help maintain the Alee Temple and its operations.
