SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - In Savannah, students at Chatham Academy spent the past week creating holiday cards that will be delivered to local nursing homes and memory care centers.
Each card was individually handmade and decorated during their art classes.
Art teacher Annie Quaile says this is the first time the students have created holiday cards to give away, and she is very proud of her students.
"They've been very enthusiastic. I'm really proud of what they've done. They understand that they are giving them to someone else that doesn't have anyone else to give them Christmas, so it's fun that they are so enthusiastic about it," said Quaile.
The students have created more than 150 cards to give to people this holiday season.
