SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah's new upscale sports bar held a grand opening celebration Thursday.
The Savannah Taphouse, located in the revitalized historic building, formerly home to the Avon Theater, offers a made-from-scratch menu, more than 40 craft beers on tap and two floors with 28 televisions to watch all the best games.
"When people walk in, they are going to be wowed by the building. Once they sit down and eat or food, they are going to be wowed too. We are an upscale sports bar. It's an all scratch kitchen," said Savannah Taphouse Director of Operations Todd Dundes.
The celebration included prizes, giveaways and live music by the Christy Alan Band.
