SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Just four days until Christmas, but Savannah Fire and Emergency Services firefighters are filling in for Santa a little early delivering toys to Greenbriar Children's Center.
The firefighters collected the toys over the past few weeks to make the holiday a very special one for the kids. According to Greenbriar officials, the giving tradition goes back longer than just this year.
"It's been over 10 years now. They've come each year to support the children here at Greenbriar and I'll tell you, it really does make a difference and I wish that they could share in the joy that these children will feel on Christmas morning," said Greenbriar Executive Director Gina Taylor.
