Two vehicles were discovered to have sustained gunshot damage. Six people were in the two vehicles including three minor children. No one was injured.
The suspect vehicle, a white Dodge Dart, fled the scene. It was spotted and followed by Master Deputy Jeff Thompson onto East Main Street. Deonte Coker, 25, of Statesboro, Jerimaih Bates, 31, of Statesboro, and Anthony Bates, 24, of Statesboro, were identified as suspects.
