Open casting call for 'Baywatch' movie being held in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Get your bathing suits ready if you want to be in the new Baywatch movie filming in Savannah this spring.

Rose Locke Casting announced over the weekend that they will be hosting an open casting call on Jan. 30 to cast for the Baywatch movie, starring "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, to be filmed in the Savannah area in mid-March to mid-April. 

They will be casting for males and females, all ethnicities, ages 18 and older at 42 W. Montgomery Cross Road in Savannah. They say they are looking for all types.

 If you are comfortable in a swimsuit, wear it. If not, then just wear regular summer attire. 

The story centers on a lifeguard (Dwayne Johnson) who is forced to team up with a young upstart (Zac Efron) in order to save the beach. Rose Locke Casting has cast background for feature films such as Bad Grandpa, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Mockingjay, Furious 7, 42, and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
