Savannah Ambucs gives three deserving boys Amtrykes

Three deserving young boys received brand new Amtrykes from Savannah Ambucs.

Sixteen-year-old Will, 13-year-old Vandell and 13-year-old Aaron received their Amtrykes Monday night.

Will and his parents met AMBUCS President Kevin Sheehan at a football game in October. Little did they know, their conversation would lead to a life-changing donation. Will is not able to ride a regular bike because he has Cerebral Palsy.  But now, he has that chance to get out and have fun on his new tryke.

"He will be able to just ride through the neighborhood like all the other kids and give him a chance to practice some of the skills he works on in physical therapy,” said Melanie Howell, Will’s mom.

"He rides and I walk behind him. So, it's a good activity for the both of us,” said Carey Howell, Will’s dad.

Will added, “Yup!”

Will's dad says he's looking forward to afternoon bike rides.
