HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Leaders at one rural hospital in Hinesville took their healthcare concerns to Congressman Buddy Carter.
Carter spent time this morning at Liberty Regional Medical Center. He heard from doctors, administrators and others who deal with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements. He tells us their concerns echo what he hears from other county hospitals across the district.
"What they want to see is just a fair reimbursement, where they aren't reimbursed below cost. They want to see less government intervention, less rules and regulations," said Rep. Carter.
Carter said he and other house Republicans continue to try and repeal President Obama's Affordable Care Act.
