Metro investigating fatal shooting on Paradise Dr.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another injured on the 100 block of Paradise Dr. Friday night.

Officers arrived around 11:15 p.m. and found two men, both 22 years old, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to Memorial where Damon Card succumbed to his injuries. The other victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Investigators do not believe this was a random shooting and are seeking to identify suspects. Detectives are looking for a white, late 90s to early 2000s model sedan that they think left the scene and drove toward White Bluff Road just after the shooting.

Police ask anyone with information on the case to call CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637) using the keyword CSTOP2020. A confidential tip line is also open directly to investigators at (912) 525-3124.
