SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Anyone who is looking for a job in the Savannah-Chatham County area can receive help from the Build a Bridge Foundation.
The organization believes in 'Bridging the Gap to a Better Future' through providing education and resources to those who don't have what they need to be successful.
"It is kind of a small class. We like it that way. It is more intimate; we can kind of work one-on-one with people skills. A lot of them will bring their experience with them, so we can sit down with them and work with them one-on-one, and get that built for them," said Tiffany Nelson, Build a Bridge, Executive Director.
Build a Bridge Foundation does offer employment skills training every first Wednesday of each month at the West Broad YMCA in Savannah.
The skills workshop will provide one-on-one help for resume writing and even access to the most recent job opening information.
The employment skills training is always held at 9 a.m., the next training workshop will be on March 2nd.
To sign up for the next employment skills training call 912.272.5834 or click here.
