SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A Chatham County grand jury has indicted a woman in the January 2015 hit-and-run case that killed a Florida man in Savannah.
Darcia Hymon was indicted for homicide by vehicle, leaving the scene, and hit-and-run.
On Jan. 4th of 2015, Peter Meyer was walking across Abercorn Street in Savannah when a car hit him and kept going.
Meyer is a Vietnam veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star.
After several months of searching for the driver and a reward of tens of thousands of dollars, someone called in a tip to CrimeStoppers and turned in Hymon.
