A fugitive is off the streets thanks to the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service.
They arrested Jaquese Dunn in connection to several crimes last year on Savannah’s southside including burglaries, auto-theft and narcotic related crimes.
When U.S.Marshals caught him Thursday at a home in the 100 block of West 55th Street, they also found a 9 MM pistol in the house.
Southside Precinct investigators have charged Dunn with one count of burglary in the second degree, one count of theft by taking, one count of use of a communication device to facilitate a crime, one count of burglary in the first degree and one count of parole violation.
Police want him in connection with several incidents including an auto-theft from a car dealership on the 10000 block of Abercorn Street on May 15th, an auto-theft near the intersection of Abercorn Street and Wilshire Boulevard on Jun. 22 and a burglary at a home near the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Montclair Boulevard on July 15th.
Rincon Police Department also had warrants for Dunn.
He remains in the Chatham County Detention Center.
