'Night to Shine' hosted in Pooler, around the world

A "Night to Shine", not only in Pooler, but all around the world as a matter of fact.

Relate Church hosted a prom for people with special needs at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth on Friday night.

More than 100 churches are hosting the event, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. It's an unforgettable experience, made up of a red carpet, paparazzi, hair and makeup, dinner, and of course, dancing!

But the highlight of the night is when every guest is crowned as prom king or queen.

"This was monumental. There are over 100 attendees, 100 buddies to go along with them. There are over 100 volunteers. There are lots of local businesses that have volunteered their services and their products to make this night possible,” said Relate Church Dream Team member Greg Ludwig.

"Oh he looks fantastic. His mom did a wonderful job picking out his tux,” said Caitlyn, Night to Shine Guest.

Brett replied, "So do you!"

After the prom, Caitlyn and Brett headed to the movie to check out "Deadpool."

In 2015, Night to Shine crowned 7,000 kings and queens. This year, the host churches are expecting to see more than 20,000.
