Cleveland Man Rows Through Thunderbolt on MS Awareness Tour

A Cleveland man is rowing his way across the country to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis. He rowed through Thunderbolt yesterday.

John Latecki left Cleveland last July and plans to row his canoe nonstop through all 48 states of the continental US over the next five years. Along his way, he's doing media appearances to talk about MS.

His sister has the disease, so he decided to devote five years of his life to her helping cause. "When she found out she had MS, I realized I didn't know anything about it," Latecki said. "So I want to bring public awareness because people don't know about MS, so this is the way to do it."

He plans to wrap up his MS awareness tour in New York City.
