Another political forum held Thursday ahead of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office special election in a few weeks.
All five candidates met at Greater Gaines Chapel AME Church.
Thursday’s debate was hosted by the Political Action Committee of the Savannah Branch NAACP. Candidates took questions from the audience, a lot of them focusing on the use of Tasers and training, as well as private medical care for the inmates.
"It just does something to me to ever see somebody using Tasers on anyone. It just, it just infuriates me,” said Barbara Hendrix.
"I truly believe that the only way anybody can make an informed choice is by hearing what each candidate has to say to the people of Chatham County,” said Gary Floyd.
The special election is March 1st.
