As Beaufort County continues to grow, so does the traffic. A traffic study could soon be in the works that would help alleviate the problem on Lady's Island, South Carolina.
County engineers have proposed a plan to reevaluate traffic in the area to find out where drivers are going and where they're coming from. If the county council approves the study, cameras would be set up at four locations to collect the data.
The idea of the study is to find out if a third bypass is needed off Lady's Island to the Beaufort-Port Royal area.
