CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

The final budget input meeting for Savannah-Chatham Public School officials and parents was held Wednesday night.

There was another low turnout, but district officials tell WTOC those who attended at Johnson High asked some great questions.

The open meetings are to discuss the 2017 budget, which is now in an early development phase.

"We try to focus everything on students. If you look at our presentation, our first strategic goal is that all students are career and college ready. Everything that we do is about the students, so we have to make sure that they are always our focus,” said SCCPSS Interim Chief Financial Officer Kelly Crosby.
