Alderman Tony Thomas files 'Good Behavior Order' against private investigator

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Something called a “Good Behavior Order” has been filed by 6th District Alderman Tony Thomas against private investigator, John Perry.

Perry is also the man behind the "Who-is-Tony-Thomas" website.

A Good Behavior Order is issued when a person fears their safety or property may be threatened. In this case, Thomas wants Perry to stop investigating him or sharing with others what he says he is discovering about the alderman.

A hearing has been scheduled for Friday, March 11th.

Perry says he's looking forward to that hearing because it means for the first time, Thomas will have to testify under Oath and could be forced to address some of the accusations of child sexual assault that have been leveled against him.

On Wednesday, March 2nd, Thomas and two local business women will sit before a city ethics committee where Thomas will have to respond to complaints that he launched a so-called, "campaign of hate" on social media against them after they did not support his campaign for re-election.

Then on Thursday, WTOC’s three month investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct, alcohol and drug crimes against Tony Thomas continues. This time you'll hear from one alleged victim and his father who plan to join the GBI criminal investigation of the alderman. You'll also hear from a young woman who claims she unknowingly helped Thomas lure young men to him at local bars and restaurants.
