Second Suspect Faces Trial in Norby Murder

A second suspect is on trial for the murder of a Midway man. Randy Simmons' trial is underway at the Liberty County Courthouse in Hinesville.

Simmons faces charges of murder, armed robbery and kidnapping.

Prosecutors say he and several others ambushed Micheal Norby at the night deposit of the Heritage Bank in November of 2002.

If Simmons is convicted, prosecutors will ask for the death penalty.
