SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee office is a very busy place, as you would expect, as parade organizers work to make sure all is in order for Thursday morning.

The parade committee tells us most of the groups participating in the parade are starting to arrive in Savannah on Wednesday, and many on the executive committee spent the first part of the day preparing for the William Jasper Ceremony being held in Madison Square.

Despite it getting a little frenzied at times, the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee Adjutant tells us they're ready for the kickoff to the festivities.

"Most of the issues that we have today are just street issues. We've run the parade route and the staging route several times over the past week. Today, in concert with the city and Chris Foran, we're going to get a lot of the small things out of the staging area,” said Mark Corrigan, Sr., St. Patrick’s Day Parade Adjutant.

Don't forget, tow trucks will scour the parade route and staging area early Thursday morning.
