SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah Ambucs gave away eight new amtrykes Monday night at their bi-monthly giveaway.

The bikes are designed to adjust for children with special needs.

Ambucs president Kevin Sheehan says the bikes allow children to get out and feel like all of the other kids.

"They don't care that their bike has three wheels or a special back or a special seat. They now have a bike that they can ride in the neighborhood like everyone else,” said Sheehan.\

Wynn Ambos, 11, says that he loves giving back to the community so his family purchased a bike to donate.

“It makes me feel so excited to give back to the community. I love giving back,” said Ambos.

Ambos Seafood, South University and St. Leo University all donated to help sponsor the event.
