SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong State University junior first baseman Hannah Reppert was named the Peach Belt Conference's softball Player of the Week, while freshman catcher Logan Harrell was named the Freshman of the Week with the release of the league's weekly awards on Monday.
Reppert earns her second PBC Player of the Week honor this season for hitting .571 and slugging 1.429 with two home runs and seven RBI in the Pirates' four wins this week. She went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs in Armstrong State's road doubleheader sweep at No. 8 Georgia College on Friday. On the week, the Loganville, Ga., native also drew eight walks for an .813 on-base percentage.
Harrell, meanwhile, earns her first weekly honor for going 3-for-7 with a double and two RBI in the Pirates' sweep of No. 8 Georgia College on Friday. The Pembroke, Ga., native also went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Sunday's 12-3 win at Augusta University.
The Pirates return to action on Wednesday, hosting Flagler in a 2:00 p.m. Peach Belt Conference doubleheader at the Armstrong State Softball Field.
