Metro investigates suspicious death at Entelmann St. and Fenwick Ave.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating the suspicious death of 57-year-old Linda Jenkins after her body was found just beyond the wood line near the intersection of Entelmann St. and Fenwick Ave. on Friday, March 25.

Metro police received the call around 6:30 p.m. when neighbors reported a smell, and arrived on scene at 6:38 p.m.

Metro’s Patrol Division, Violent Crimes detectives and Forensics Unit all responded to this incident.

An autopsy will be scheduled at the GBI Crime Lab at a later date to determine cause of death, as the circumstances leading up to this death remain under investigation.
