SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A packed house Wednesday night at the Liberty City Community Center for the District 5 Town Hall.

“I'm not the only one. I mean, a lot of my friends live out here, too and they ask the same questions. That's why I came here."

That resident was just one of many voicing their concerns about where they live. The topics ranging from policing to car break-ins to park improvement.

The town hall was hosted by 5th District Alderwoman Estella Shabazz. Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach and several Savannah-Chatham Metro officers were in attendance.

We caught up with one woman, sharing what she wants to see change in the future.

"I hope that crime will decrease in Savannah. I also hope that we gain the resources to hire more officers, to help in our neighborhood, specifically. And I hope that we as a community build a better working relationship with our police officers,” said one resident.
