SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Hundreds of small business owners gathered Wednesday on Hutchinson Island to learn how the local economy is treating their businesses along with their peers.
Multiple businessmen and women spoke at the 4th Annual State of Small Business Conference, and they all seem to agree on one point - things are looking up in Savannah.
Experts broke down the local economy's effect on the small business sector and gave business owners important data to help them forecast how to handle the next year.
"We're trying to decide if we want to hire somebody new or expand, this kind of information makes it possible and it is very Savannah specific. Savannah should be really excited, all of the news was good for the small business industry," said Marjorie Young, SCORE mentor.
This was the 4th Annual Conference here in Savannah, which was hosted by SCORE. SCORE is a free mentoring service for small business owners.
