More reservists are on their way to join the fight against terror. On Saturday afternoon, nearly sixty reservists with the 165th Airlift Wing of the Georgia Air National Guard left for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dozens of family members crowded the 165th's headquarters to say goodbye to their loved ones. Many of their families have grown accustomed to deployments. Most of the reservists have deployed regularly for the last two years.
"It's a sad thing," explained Colonel Tom Moore with the 165th Airlift Wing, "but it's a good thing to see that we're still a part of the war effort and we're still fighting the good fight."
Members of the 165th will be gone for the next several months.
