Key Games Pushed Back Due to Rain


South Effingham’s third and deciding baseball game with Loganville was rained out, but has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

The winner of game three will face Houston County in the final.  Houston County was a 2-0 winner over Gainesville in their game three.

The University of South Carolina Beaufort is pushed back a day in getting started in the opening round of the NAIA National Championships. 

The Sand Sharks face Freed-Hardeman in Grayson Stadium on Wednesday at 2 p.m. 

The road to Lewiston, Idaho, for the Avista-NAIA World Series goes through Savannah for five teams. Campbellsville (Ky.), Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), Taylor (Ind.) and Point (Ga.) joining host USCB in the Savannah Bracket.

The Sand Sharks are hosting the double-elimination tournament from May 17-20 at Historic Grayson Stadium with the winner advancing to the 10-team Avista-NAIA World Series.
