SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Friday is Bike to Work Day, and the Savannah Bicycle Campaign is offering free breakfast for those on bikes to celebrate the day.

People who ride can enjoy free coffee from the Foundery Coffee Pub, snacks courtesy of Enmarket and Beetnix Superfood and Juice Bar, and receive a free bike light at the corner of Lincoln and Henry streets from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday.

"Well this is both, for people who want to try it and are curious about it, this might be a good day to experiment and see how easy and fun it is. And for the people who ride every day, this is our way to say thank you,” Savannah Bicycle Campaign Executive Director John Bennett said.

The City of Savannah is number one in the state of Georgia for number of people who bike to work each day.
