15th annual Taste of Savannah entertains despite rain
A little rain outside didn't stop partygoers from having some fun inside the Civic Center Thursday at the Taste of Downtown Savannah.
The Chamber of Commerce hosted its 15th annual event featuring food, drinks and music.
Taste is sponsored by Bank of America, and chamber members and their guests were treated to samples from more than 30 of Savannah's most popular chefs.

"We had some rain come and try to threaten the event, but it turned out fantastic, Bank of America Vice President Brian Dart said. We have over 3,000 people who've attended. We great restaurants who are here, and I've met people here all the way from Tattnall County, Evans County, Georgia. We even have some folks from St. Simons just to taste some of the best dishes that Savannah's restaurants can serve."

Alligator Soul, Cohens Retreat, Lowcountry Kitchen, Pie Society and The Olde Pink House were just some of the many restaurants offering tastings Thursday night.
