CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Tuesday is Election Day and voters will cast their ballots in the General Primary and Nonpartisan election.

Like always, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. The Board of Elections chairman told WTOC these elections are very important and some races will be decided Tuesday. You'll vote for school board seats and commission chairs according to your district.

So it's important to know where you need to head to cast your ballot.

"There's actually dozens of ballots in this election because they are particular to the district in the precinct that you're in. And there are different districts for different races, so you're going to have a very particular ballot based on your residency. When you go in to vote, that will be pulled up,” said Chatham County Board of Elections Chairman Thomas Mahoney III.

Don't forget to bring a photo I.D. along with you to the polls.
