A felon with an impressive rap sheet has been sentenced to more than two decades in federal prison for trafficking drugs and possessing guns.
Darius Holmes was arrested last year in a Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team sting after selling heroin to a police informant.
During the sentencing, the court noted that Holmes has been convicted of 35 felonies over the past 25 years.
Many of Holmes' crimes involved drugs, guns and violence, and all of them were committed in the Savannah area.
